A 100-mile tribute to Jayne, from Sue Bell...

The AGM of ASLTIP [the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice, of which Jayne was deputy chair] was a sombre affair this year without Jayne to spread enthusiasm and joie de vivre amongst her colleagues in independent practice.

I intend to walk 100 miles as a tribute to Jayne. I'm inviting sponsorship so that ASLTIP can use the funds to provide a lasting tribute to somebody who was a good friend to many members, a very approachable 'higher authority' for those of us who needed guidance with those 'tricky clients', and an inspiration to all who made her aquaintance.

I am walking from Corfe Castle in the Purbeck Hills of Dorset, via Bournemouth seafront, the New Forest and the Itchen Navigation to the North Downs of Hampshire at Froyle. This will take place 3rd-9th April 2006.
