Jayne and Phil were friends of Pippa; she introduced me.

I remember her huge smile and enthusiasm. I went to some lovely suppers at their flat; lots of silly games and loads of lovely food. We all had a picnic at Greenwich Park one time. More silly games, loads of food and photos.

Another time I remember that smile is meeting her at Stu and Pippa's wedding. I felt like a long lost friend, made welcome and invited to stop in to see them whenever. That meant a lot, especially as I was not feeling very confident having not seen everyone for ages. Jayne looked as though she had just been to Ascot and was going on to a Queen's tea party. Just the ticket. The photo for her service was taken from that day.
