From John Goddard, Jayne's father-in-law

Enthusiasm, that was Jayne, in everything. Jayne seemed to be everywhere. Somehow in London's rush-hour millions, she could be found on her way back to Blackheath (or wherever) after a hospital working session when I was only just on my way to start the day's work.

Being in touch with so many interests, she could be a source for what is fashion, what is up to date.

Her musical activity was a joy.

In spite of all this, she could listen. Her concern for others was notable to the end. She was a specialist in retail therapy (again, remembering others).

I realised her flame was going out when her notebook finally closed and her pen was put down. I will remember, OUR LOVELY JAYNE.
