Some words from Jayne's colleague Shirley Davis
I first met Jayne when she was a student in Plaistow. It goes without saying that she was an excellent student and even then her empathy with patients and colleagues was obvious.
Later, when we were working together at the College, it was that empathy that made her contribution to everyone's working day so important. Jayne was such an asset to the College. She was wonderful at handling queries from the public and from members. She was able to analyse problems and find solutions, and she gave unstintingly of her time to everyone. I shall always remember her calmness, her sense of humour and her unfailing support to me at that time.
